Whats the best thing to use to polish up the chrome on a NF Fairlane grill? I think the grill part is plastic so im worried if i use a compound to harsh it will scratch the chrome off the plastic. Would plastic polish work?

Picked up the NF Fairlane grill for $25 lol, for my Fairmont just to see what it looks like. The black inner part was all chipped so i resprayed that and it came out quite nice, so now ive gotta sort out the chrome part, it seems a bit 'weathered', dunno if thats the right word, but its got little marks in the chrome aswell as a few stonechip which i know cannot be fixed without getting it rechromed.

ive got EAGLE ONE Mag and Aluminuim polish. works beautifully, i can see my reflection in my boot spear as if it was a mirror.
