Dont forget Flex Plate/Torque Converter

Are the boxes the same length? Just curious for tailshaft length reasons

Yeah, Boxes are just about the same length .. maybe 1-2mm out .. but thats it ..

The bolts that hold the flex plate on are shorter than the flywheel bolts, and you will need to remove the spigot bearing. I put a motor out of a manual into an auto car and I had no end of trouble getting the spigot out. Ended up welding a bolt into it and using a jemmy bar.

yeah, been there, done that, you knock some grease into the spigot bush bearing hole, and use a socket to push the grease into the spigot bush hole. and the grease pushes the spigot bush out :)

In theory, doesn't always work though. I tried that for hours and got the sh*ts with it and wheeled out the welder.
