I am going to do my EL conversion very soon and have heard about speed sensitive steering, i thought it was a bunch of crap but it's actually pretty awesome, I tried it on my mates NL Concorde and it makes it a dream to drive. I heard that a different Power steering rack and loom is needed. Is there anything else?
Cheers Kyle

You will need an EL Fairmont Ghia ECU or NL Ghia to control the speed sensitive steering.

Oh, it's only on the ghia? I made a post recently about my fairmont thinking it had it, oops. It doesn't really feel like it has it, although it does feel a tad different to my EBII's.

So I would need the rack, EL or NL Ghia ECU, and the loom for it, where does the loom lead into, I assume the ECU loom on the Engine bay side?

Thats a good question and I suspect the answer is that you'll need both looms because the speed sensor pickup is on the right loom and the ECU plug is on the left loom.

yeah, I think so.. but I decided to prempt any problems and just replace all looms with fairmont ghia ones just to make sure there isn't something I need that isn't there when I need it.
