i have a xh ute with rockers that clatter all the time,the head has cast number 94AB,
i have a motor in my shed with the same cast number with a reco head on it,
My question is, can i remove the rocker gear from both engines and just swap them,am i likely to have a problem in doing that,the rockers on both heads are identical to look at,so i think it would be ok,i just need to know if other people have done this,i am on a budget,please dont tell me to get new hla's,if you have done this i would love to hear was it ok,any help will be appreciated

You could try swapping them over, maybe check oil pressure before doing so.

i am sure the oil preasure is fine all i have is the light,it goes out an a second or two when started

i just took off the rocker gear and found that their are some strpped bolts holding them in so i am not going to fix it,i got a ef giha with a great tickford motor in it so i will start the swap over the weekend,may even attempt the dash swap too,,so thanks for your help
