Hello,
I have a 351 sitting in my shed, and an AU3 Sedan, and it has got me wondering, would the 351 fit into the engine bay of the AU Sedan. I am not sure if it is a Windsor or a Cleveland 351. The car is already running Tickford LPG, so that is the fuel side covered. I am wondering how big of a task would it be to make it fit and get it running? Any advice/pointers would be great. Thanks in advance, Holocaust

if you wanted to phuk a good au that would be a good way to do it. (not that i'm a fan of au's at all) i had a clevo sittin in my shed to and wanted to put it into my ea, but getting it engineered would be an absolute joke, you have to prove that that 351 produces less emissions than your standard 6cyl au did, which is, uterly impossible, even with gas. and i'm sure the 6cyl gas setup wouldn't retrofit to it anymay but i'm open to correction as i don't know much about gas.
is it a windsor or a clevo ? coz a windsor would be a waste of time unless you restamp engine numbers (not that i condone that sort of thing) even then you could get a new injected 5.0 to hose off the old windsor. and a clevo wouldn't fit. it was a tight squeeze into the eaGT let alone an au.

If your not sure if its a clevo or a windsor, then its most likely a clevo.
Also, i have a 351 clevo, and have had a few before it, and i wouldn't be putting it into anything late model, for above mentioned reasons of emmisions, and its simply pointless, and take into account that without good internals, it wont rev like you'll want it too.. The average stock clevo makes less power than an AU windsor, and newer windsors are'nt expensive to buy. The clevo is much wider, and without a rebuild, it its been sitting in your shed, i wouldn't put it in anything in a hurry. I think you need to put more thought into this.
