Hi All,
Definitely not my taste, so I'm selling these! They are EF/EL sedan clear tail lights/altezzas. They are in excellent condition and come complete with globes and wiring looms, so you just plug straight in - literally a 5 minute swap. I'm after $70 for them. Pickup welcome from Cheltenham or Reservoir or I'm happy to post at the buyer's expense. Thanks, Justin. Last edited by Private9 on Sun Mar 01, 2009 9:53 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

Is it lens dye on the outside, ot have you dismantled them to do it on the inside? I tried a couple of things with mine - and they did not turn out this good

I tried a couple of things with mine - and they did not turn out this good I bought the car with them on, and removed them, so I'm not too sure how the reflectors were done. I'm told they must've been customised with the red reflectors, but they look very well done. |

Here's some more info on how they were done:
{USERNAME} wrote: I used an extremely thin masking tape (used within the industry but also readily available at some automotive shops and all auto-paint supply shops) and masked around the reflector on the outside of the lense and then used aerosole lense dye to tint just the reflector area of the tail light.

Hi,
I'm interested in these but could you post a close up pic of the dyed lense? Cheers, Pat

Will get some close up pics soon.
The red reflectors look very red, not pinkish as the photos sort of show. |

Close up pic:
The reflector is much more red in real life than it appears in the photos. |
