MY TURBO ED WONT BOOST OVER 4PSI
I DISCONECTED THE A/M FUEL REG
N CHANGED THE PLUGS

IT FREE REVS FINE AS SOON AS U LOAD IT UP IT CHUGS N DOSES WEN THE FOOT ITS DOWN, FEELS LIKE UR DRIVING ON THE BRAKES,

MAYBE LEADS, CAP N ROTOR? ILL CHANGE THEM TOMORRO.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEA OR HAS FIXT THIS PROBLM PLSZ LET ME KNO , ITS DOIN MY HEAD IN BAD

What injectors, ECU are you runing ??

its stock injectors and pump , ive only just fitted it all but ive done 4 other cars with out pump n inj and had no problem they at least boosted to 6 or so and moved

Assuming its the EF.. is the car pinging like crazy just before it refuses to push any harder? manual or auto check your fault codes. possible LHM?

If its pinging, not much you can do as your on coil packs.

na its my ed, i sold the ef, ive just then replaced the leads,plugs, cap n rotor, and it is
backfiring as soon as it trys to boost must be timing?

Bodgy .. But you could fit a Malpasi or Vortic fuel reg / FMU..
Fit colder plugs and retard timing..

I strongly suggest fitting one of these..Retards on boost..Saves engines!!

Or if your on the cheap you could buy an afm interceptor. These usually have a hand held screen for in car adjustment and tuning. It intercepts your afm signal and lets you remap your air and fuel maps to add or remove fuel as you please. The one I had was pretty good. It was a J-CAR kit that you build yourself. I had this in my old TX5 DIY GT25 turbo. Boosted to 10psi and bagged the wheels through all 5 gears.

An ignition retard on pre-det is preferable though.

check you cat, if your running one, or mufflers they may be blocked.
