I know It would benefit it, but do you think I could get away without one until I can afford a re tune with a pro-m maf ? I had it all tuned up and then went from a 2.5 inch system to a 3 inch system with high flow metal cats, the idle dropped from around 1,000rpm to 900rpm, the exhaust shop said idle would drop with a big system. So am I already running lean ? Will a bigger tb let more air in and the computer not be able to adjust the mixture ? I know I can't put the new maf on without a re tune because it will really throw the tune out, so I am told.

Unless your engine is turning big rpm, highly tuned..
The 65mm is way big enough...
