would anyone be able to tell me where the pulse signal usually comes from on an EF or AU I6 when wiring up a LPG safety switch?

other falcons have a single coil and usually get it from the (-) post on the coil...but the EF and AU use coilpack so cant do that

The line from the ECU that gives a tacho signal to the instrument cluster.

yeah i was thinking it might be possible to use that...

out of curiousity would it have been ok to use one of the coil earths that go to the ecu?
