Just wondering what improvements Ford did to the BF XR bars to help keep them from sagging. I know there are now two bolts behind the number plate, which I would have thought would be the end of the issue, but I've had a look and pretty much all the BF's I've looked at have far too much sag when you get up close.
My BA has a BF bar now and it could be better too so I'm taking it back to be fixed but I'm wondering what the two new bolts attach to on a BA, where they wouldn't have been before. Am I making sense? |

Under the headlights there is too much gap for a new bar, so they are going to fix it, but I"m wondering how, and why they should need to. I would have thought those two bolts behind the license plate would have been the solution, but many BF's have saggy bumpers.
I am wondering what these two bolts are attached to, on the BA and BF, seeing as the BA didn't have them before. |
