Did anyone else go to this today? I got there at about 3pm due to picking up a mate out in gidgegannup, i realise it started at 1.30 but for it to be finished by 4.15 was just ridiculous!! Just glad i didn't have to pay to get in. Any reason for such a short event?
Cudo's to the guys out there having a crack, I know i can't drift for sh*t but the quality of what was on show was pretty low, I must admit I have only seen a few Aussie Drift events, mostly only been keen on the US/JAP stuff. Anyway, I travelled nearly 350kms in total today, and to sum it up, the cruise through the Perth hills was the most fun I had all day! P.S...the show and shine was won by a FG XR8, lowered, tint and rims. looked standard otherwise. |

That FG XR8 is owned by Matt aka TOCCHI who is also on this forum.
Drift comp's are boring I reckon. Everyone is too good and the cars are pretty much all the same. Drift practice nights are way better (usually friday night once a month). You see all sorts of cars at practice nights and its more fun to watch because the drivers are less skilled then the guys who compete in the competitions. Last week there was an EB with an LS2 chev motor in it lol. |
