Ok I have a EB S2 4.0 Wagon complete with LSD and a EL Wagon open wheeler.
Is it possible to remove axles and brakes from the EB diff housing, then replace with EL axels and brakes.
At what models did ford change the number of splines on the axles?
Would love to have the EB's LSD in the EL if possible before offloading the EB.

While what you want to do is feasible, you also have to consider that the brackets for the EL handbrake setup are not on the EB diff housing.

The EB2 should be the same spline as the EL, and yes the backing plates, rotors and calipers are interchangeable. Just the handbrake stuff to worry about.
