I need to replace the heater core in my sisters EL wagon, I understand its a b**ch of a job.
I was just wondering what model falcon heater core can be used? I can get an ED one for nothing.
Or will I have to buy one specifically for an EL?
Thanks guys,
Jas.

Best thing to probably do is check up with a Radiator place...

I just very recently replaced the A/C Evaporator and the Heater Core, you are right it is a b**ch of a job, lot of fideling around but its not hard.

If you need any more info bout how to do it i might be able to give you some advice... but I aint doing it lol

im fairly sure that the EF/EL cores are different from the earlier ones, so definitely make sure to double check before going to all the effort of ripping your dash apart to change your one out!!

Ok cool thanks guys. I have found the parts at a good price, just wondering how much you guys paid for the evaporator and for the heater core?
I have got the dash out and only swore once.
I now know that if I build a car I have to start with a heater core and build the rest of the car around it!

I need to replace a heater core in my EB before it gets worse.
Not too keen to tackle it myself, so i got a quote from a radiator shop.
Want $750 that includes an air con regas.
Thought thats a reasonable price? What do you think?
