This is an interesting one.

When I bought my car, it had a sony deck in it. I was using the A/C on the way home, and it suddenly stopped picking up the radio very well. I just figured the deck was dying, didn't worry as I had my old one at home.

I put in my Pioneer DEH-3050IB. I still have the same problem though. Its just when the climate fan is on that it interferes, worse as the fan speed is increased. Just get fuzzy reception on FM.

The deck is wired as factory with an adapter loom, I haven't done anything weird.

Any ideas? Im stumped!

check the antenna extension, it joins near the interior fan/ecu, if its unplugged or shagged it'll pickup interference around that area.

Behind the left hand kick panel? I'll have a look tomorrow and report back.
