Some of you may already know I have a Raptor V supercharger kit ready to be installed to my AU2.
I have dual fuel on my car and wish to keep it IF possible. I want to maintain maximum power when getting it custom tuned with the flash tuner in a few weeks time. I have a feeling that I wont be able to run my s/c at full potential if there is a conflict between running it on 1 tune setting and flicking between LPG and petrol. I'd like to get it tuned to reach 200rwkw on either fuel. My question is 1. do I spend more cash on a GRA mixer TB and 2 B2 converters and run straight LPG? 2. Do i remove the LPG system altogether, sell it and run petrol only? OR 3. Can I get custom tunes setup separately for each fuel type, and have the option to switch between each fuel every time I want to change from 1 fuel to another? Personally I dont want to spend anymore cash than I necessarily need to as mentioned, prefer not to remove the LPG altogether unless its the only option. Given the choices, what would you do? Please provide constructive answers if possible.

why dont you try gas injection it runs seperate injectors and computer and you will get the same power output (give or take 4kw) there is no mixer so no restrictions its neat and you can also run closed loop and idle conrol is good unlike GRA which isnt perfect.

As Maxxr6.
My old boy run gas injection in his Territory and its works real well. They (supplier) did a stack of R&D for the system and it gave a touch more output. Get in touch with someone that does it and have a chat. Should be a good goer. |

Thanks mate.
Just out of curiosity, what am I looking at cost wise to get a direct injection setup fitted?

gas injection is not cheap compared to a normal mixer setup but because you have a tank already its probably going to be over 2grand but i think its worth it i have a turbo xf ute on gas injection with wolfv500 (you wont need that) and its just like EFI

Could it be worth doing a Gas Research setup to suit the dual fuel application a keep the cost down?
Im looking to run the LPG side of things via a mixture screw instead of relying on the ecu as the ecu will be handling the petrol side of things mainly.

gas research is a good option it works very well with forced induction and it is a bit cheaper it will work just fine on your car
