8" drivers for 12" and 15" subs 10" drivers for 18"sub? then u have to match mid range drivers to ur mid-bass drivers up front so 8" would go 4" - 5.25" 10" would go 4" - 6" maybe someone else would be able to clarify all this better, but the point i'm trying to get across is trying to cover all frequency ranges A lot of poeple use this as a good rule of thumb, it's not a always necessary but is a good guide. I think if you've heard a car with well tunned 8's up front you would find there is no need for 2 x midbass drivers per side, although if that tyakes your fancy and you have the time, money and space it's up to you.......

Housing 2 X 8" drivers in a door is a bit overkill IMO...sure it's great to have great bass up front...but a well tuned / setup 3 way system with a single sub in the boot can yield as good results in a more practical fashion too. Cheers, Steve how did you cover the pods with the vinyl it look extremely good.. also is the whole thing made of wood and then have you moulded the curves with body bog or fibre glass.. VERY interested because i have just come to this cross road and need some advice and ideas

shop around. a lot of component setups are very tweeter heavy, but a lot of the time that has to do with tweeter placement. try something like the rockford fostage p162s (i think) very full sounding split, and also has 2 tweeters. probably the most midrange ive heard from a component split without spending a fortune, as they are only 499rrp. just another idea anyway.
