Ride: EB S1 3.9L Bush basher

WA, Australia

Hey guys,
I have a bunky old EB S1 3.9L Falcon, I use it as a bush basher. The other day when I was driving it my mate threw the key away. I cant find it in the grass. Anyway, I dont car about the cars cosmetics, how can I start my bush basher up?

One way would be to get the VIN and go to your local Ford dealer and they can get the key number for you and a Locksmith can cut one.

Undo the switch from the back of the ignition barrel. You will be able to start the car now with a screwdriver.

Drop the steering column, drill the two retaining screws that hold the ignition barrel on to the column, and it will drop. That will unlock the steering column. You can also normally get away with a hammer and punch to undo them.

Your car is now driveable....

No Smartlock etc so no problems with security

Do you mean drop it by using the tilt adjuster?
