Has anyone experienced, or can some shed some light on what the source of a ticking noise coming from behind my dash of my AUII XR8 might be, it doesn't happen while idling, only when accelerating.
It is only noticable with the stereo off and the windows up, it sounds like it is coming from behind the dash or from the air vent, it is a lighting ticking noise, not a knock and it is driving me insane, is it possibly the carbon canister (I heard these make a ticking noise, but thought they were in the passenger wheel arch, not the drivers) or am i looking in the totally wrong area?
