I got a cruise kit from ebay I installed it , Ford activated it and told me swicthes were stuffed put new switches in still nothing , thought it may the cruise switch on brake pedal, Got new one from ford Wrong part the shaft it the switch was to long, put old one back in and with the switches hanging not put back onto brake pedal bracket the cruise control turns on but will not set, put both switches back into bracket cruise will not turn on.
This is sending me MAD has anyone got any ideas at all

If someone has got a 04 BA with cruise control could you have a look at the cruise switch (GREEN one) and let me know how long the shaft is, As I have come across a long and short shaft

The brake switch you got from ford was it a gray one ? That shaft has to be pushed in to make to work. For some reason ford send them like this.
