Hey everyone.

My front split component speaker has decided to stop working.

The cone is made of Kevlar and I think it's a woofer.

When I push in on the cone towards the magnet it works perfectly and if I back off a bit it distorts a lot. But when I stop pushing all together it won't work at all. It comes on occasionally.

How would I go about fixing it. One speaker is driving me insane I'd really appreciate some help.
I'd prefer to fix it myself if possible. I know a bit about electrics.

Sounds like the braided wire has broken off the cone.
May need soldering.
