Ive done a search but cant find what im after...
Has anyone succesfully tapped into the stereo control buttons on a ba steering wheel to use for something else (personally i want it for scrolling through playlists on my carputer)? Or does anyone know where the leads run to? cheers |

Yep, the wire in question is a Red/White Stripe wire found at the ICC, or the steering column.
Is resistance multiplexed, so each button gives a different reading... Vol - 0Ohms Vol + 560Ohms Seek 1560Ohms Media 3360Ohms

have you succesfully connected these up to other buttons? i got an old key board i pulled apart that would be perfect.... not not sure where to start, maybe ill ask the sparky's at work....
