This is one I did last week.
Customer requested a Stage 1 Exterior and Interior detail along with Toughseal Paint and leather protection.

The Owner has only had this car for about a week and it had all the noticable signs of dealer induced swirls and scratches.

The stage 1 polish got out a sigificant amount of the defects out and really made the blue metallic flakes pop out!

Process was:
Wash - Prima Mystique
Clay - Clay Magic Blue
Rinse
Stage 1 machine polish with Menz 106ff on white LC (rotary)
IPA wipe down
Rinse & dry
Toughseal Pre-treatment Step 1 with Grey LC Hand pad
Toughseal Step 2 Sealant with Blue LC hand pad
2nd coat of Toughseal Step 2

Interior Vacuum (carpet, seats & mats)
Interior wipe down with Driven MSC diluted 10:1
Toughseal Leather & Vinyl Protection

Prima Wheel Armour on Wheels

Driven VRL on Tyres

Number plates and rear spoiler was taken off to make polishing easier

All Masked up

There hazing you see is some residue from the sealant. All was buffed off with a MF towel before customer arrived ;D or I would have been in trouble ::)

Heres a couple of the interior after treatment

Cheers

Very nice. That thing is gorgeous inside & out. I want one! Looks heaps better without the spoiler too.

How much did this set him back? I imagine you do alot of business, every dealer car I have seen has the most horrible swirl marking & scratches. WTF do they do with them? Polish them with a scourer?

Yeah I really like the interior finish in the FG's. The leather feels much better than previous models.
This was a $700.00 package mainly due to the request of a warranted protection package.

The main reason why dealer cars are swirled and scratched is mainly because when they are sitting on the yard, the only form of cleaning they recieve is a hose down then dried with a dirty chamois. And when the car does get sold and apparently detailed by pre-delivery, it is run through and automatic carwash which has harsh bristles.

Cheers
Dave

The bit that gets me is that they then charge you $2000 dealer deliver for the above service. Worlds worst value for money car wash!

 I use to work as a salesman at a Holden car yard and the way the car was presented after it was detailed was shocking! All they did was run it though an automatic car wash, then some 17 year old would go over it with a cutting pad and compound and thats that! I use to have to spend a good hour going around the car polishing off compond residue and silicon dressing!
