thanks mate,from a quick search i thought as much,just wanted to be sure :D i had this falcon since new and have never touched it,although it has done a pump before,but i did'nt fix it,prior to this car all my cars have had external pumps.cheers

Did mine in the NF recently. Remove 6 screws from the cover plate. I had a hose clamp around the plastic cap that had to be undone. Then manufacture a tool (use advanced google search and put this website at the bottom) to get ideas on how to make the tool. If you go at it with a hammer and screwdriver, you'll just break it. Also depressurise your fuel system (pull the plug at the tank to disconnect 12v supply) if your car is still running. If your car is dead, don't worry about the previous step. Rest of the procedure is simple.
