has ne1 got a chart of the resistances of spark plug leads for a el v8?
i wanna check if mine r rooted

on average 1000 ohms per inch

Purely depends on the leads especially in performance leads, Ford specify a max value of 21kOhm per lead for their stock leads, performance ones will be much less (all the way down to 200-400 Ohms per lead with some brands).

Hmmm I thought 600 ohms per foot was acceptable...????
I have replaced mine with Bosch leads, there resistance is low....
