the first injector on my fuel rail is making a very loud tapping noise you can even hear it from inside the car, does this mean the injector is stuffed? or could injector cleaner clean it or should i just replace it also if i replace it with au injectors do they fit straight in?

jst pull them and the rack off (which you would have to do anyway) n clean them yourself with carby cleaner.if problem fixed, then its cheap n ur away, if not, then chances are the other 5 aren't far behind the phuked one and you should consider changing the lot. the only real time advantage i see in changing to au injectors is the life span. slightly newer part = mabe more life span. MAYBE.

Mine's the same, I thought they were broken...but it's still running. I believe due to the smaller size, it may in fact have less sound deadening causing the louder ticking over the standard EL ones...just a guess. To OP...yeah AU ones are a straight swap. Might as well do it, that way you know they are working if something else decides to die in the fuel line. phong =P~
