Hey guys
i have an EF Fairmont and i would like to remove the front grill and replace it with Mesh instead, i'm hoping this will slightly improve air flow. does anyone know how to remove it? without breaking it? some pics and instructions would be appreciated thanks

middle section is clipped in, and pops off. Use a screwdriver from the back of the grille to help the clips release.
if you fit mesh without the middle section, you will need something like a chrome strip around the mesh to clean up the edges or it will look s**t. I wrapped the mesh around the bottom and sides to help keep it neat, and a single screw in the middle to hold it on |

Obviously you'll also need to cut a hole in the front of the bonnet behind the grill assembly if you plan on making it active to improve airflow.
FordFairmont's way of fitting the mesh is pretty spot on and looks very well made |
