Rear control arm bushes all done , diff completely fitted and rear brakes redone. Seems good.
Got the a*** end back on the ground so now the front is jacked up cause I removed most of the front suspension , stripped most of the engine bay and dropped out the 6 cylinder K frame this arvo.

Will hopefully get everything cleaned up tomorrow arvo (its bloody filthy in there!) , and get the V8 K frame ready and cleaned up.
Ordered a sandwich plate from Mal Wood yesterday as the conversion I got didnt have one. Hopefully it should get here in the next few days so the motor and box can be fitted together and be ready for cleaning and paint.
Also going to look at making a new pedal box on the weekend out of the one I got with the conversion and the auto one from the parts car. Need to make up a good ED one as the one I got has been somewhat modified to fit an EL interior.
Need to tidy a few things up before I start bolting stuff up so it will be a few days before more progress.

Yep the battery is now going in the boot. This little conversion is getting bigger by the day.
At the current rate Ill have a completely stripped bare shell by the end of the week..............................
Hope not cause if that happens again it will be divorce court for me!

Yeah certainly a bit undecided about some s**t hey.
Just part of the learning process about E series Fords I spose. Still dont know if Im doing the right thing but screw it its going to happen.
Ill just keep plodding on by myself. I actually prefer to do it all myself then getting others to help.

Nice progress on Mr ED there Matt. Sorry about the sandwich plate, I never had one and butchered an auto one to fit when I did my conversion. Also, make sure you adjust your driving style as I don't think the EA box will like too many burnouts, I pulled the odd one here and there early on but since I worked my windsor over, I babied that box. Still held up very well and still made the 2nd gear whine since the day I bought it.

I gather that you will be stripping the ED wiring and putting in the EB wiring? If you want, I have some of my old ED V8 engine bay loom in my shed but it has been butchered as I took some of the ABS loom out of it for my EF 6cyl loom conversion. If you need it, I have an excuse to come to a krispy kreme liverpool night with the rest of the Sydney characters. I also have some of the interior loom as well but yes, it has been butchered. You would need to adapt the ABS from your 6cyl loom to my V8 loom.

Another thing too, the 6cyl and V8 radiators are the same except that the V8 radiator has more fins per radiator core. I'm using a 6cyl radiator behind my cammed windsor and since I bolted up your auto box, I've never had the thing get hot, even going up long hills.
