I can get an au xr8 motor for $900 complete minus alt,air,power steer.Is there differance in the serp belt or anythink else...do i have to change the balancer ?
im thinking of changing the cam, porting the heads, match port the intake and put a new clutch in while im at it... Its alot cheaper then paying $400-500 for an explorer and even more for gtp heads,makes it a cheap short motor |

I'd imagine that you would need to swap over your whole accessories setup from your EB when it's swap over time plus your distributor. Although I'm 100% on this, you may have to change the harmonic balancers over too. If you use your EB TPS, you will need to modify the AU throttle body TPS blade as the EB TPS will sit proud when you screw it on.
