I have a 96 EL Falcon GLi Wagon.

I have noticed that my speedo may be out.

When doing a trip from Newcastle, NSW to Brisbane, QLD I was making the trip with a friend who was in his car. He was sitting on 80, I was sitting on 80, and he kept pulling away from me.
This has happened while following a few people.
With everyone i follow, they swear they are doing the speed limit, and i'm always being left for dust.

I worked out on average, I need to be doing 10k's faster that the speed limit to keep up with them.
Even when they are using their Cruise Control so their speed sits dead on 80, i'm still being left behind by about 10k's out.

Is there any way i can check if this is correct or test for the problem/fix it if there is ???

yeah gday,

sounds like your diff has been changed from standard 3.45 to 3.9 (or 3.08 to 3.45), will give you 10km difference.
