Hi fellas

Ive got a ba mk2 xr6 and im trying to change the coolant. Anyway open the bonnet and im looking at the clamps on the end of the pipes and its like a round end on the bolts.

so im like how the F@#k can i get these bastards off so i grab some pliers and there easy to get off but the thing is how the hell can i get the one on the bottom radioator hose as u can get pliers down there, so any suggesstions??

I took them off and back on again with pliers with out any problems when I changed the coolant in my BA.

I took that plastic cover of the bottom of the car and got under the car to do the job.

i came from underneath on mine. i also changed those hose clamps over to the more traditional style too

yeah thats what i was gonna do, just thought there must be an easier way.

these round heads on the hose clamps are just caps.
i pop em off with a pair of side cutters and you can then get a screw driver or socket onto the head as per usual.
