Ok well i have an ed and every gearbox that has been put into it hasnt felt right
1st - was the standard one so was bound to dies soon but it didnt change into 2nd at all
2nd - ea fairmont 4speed was a cheap replacement and was aswome for awhile and then went rough as fuk
3rd - elxr6 auto so its still a standard btr i guess but 2nd - 3rd thumps abit so just cruising and reves go up from 1500-2000 to 2500-3000 but the converter i got with this one was different colour and i think it may be a mild stally got no idea
But the 3rd one was rebuilt with 100kms on it so my question is why would all my gearboxes be like this i would just like a smooth gear change for once

...how many oil changes?

Probably still wearing in the current one and also might require an oil change if they haven't done so since the rebuild...metal shards suck bollocks on gears.

lol umm not sure on how many oil changes i think 1 or 2
and its now kinda slipping between 2nd - 3rd

I have an AU XR6 with 156,000 klms on it and the Auto stills works wonderfully. I have had it for 4 years and in that time the Auto has been flushed twice and new filter each time. Maybe you are just unlucky or you have a foot made of plutonium
