nah what we did is we just wrapped the cable ties around the rubber grommet, I lifted the exhaust up while the guy zip tied the grommet in the squashed form. Hasn't dropped a mill since :D.

It may be cable ties, but it sure as hell does a great job.

phong =P~

What a pro haha.

I'm thinking of doing it, I'll have a look under there when I get a chance.

Well Phong, you are winnarrrr.

I was just changing the brake pads and remembered the exhaust. I put the jack under the cat flange, jacked it up, put a cable tie around either metal bracket, zipped it up and let the exhaust go.

Just gained 10-30mm of clearance and it no longer scrapes.

I also now have more E-series pride, for obvious reasons. :P

Cheers guys.

Thumbs up to that :D. If you want to go to a bit more extremities, use hose clamp thingies...that way you can adjust the height, and it is made out of metal, so probably lasts longer.

It's amazing what zip ties can do :D

It has dropped down again after driving it :(

I will not be beaten however. I'll be out there in the morning with many more cable ties!

More E-Series pride FTW.
