i think there quite good depending on the tuner. i have seen them installed in fg v8s to au xr6 turbo. if you have a fairly standard car they can sen d it to you with pre loaded programs and diy insrtuctions on how to do it yourself

They are a tuning tool, which means they are only as good as the person using them
I wouldn't run one of Capas 'generic' tunes without running it on a dyno to check AFRs. Or do you mean the situation where the Gen1 and 2 flash tuners weren't working anymore? With that story (this is the gist of it), basically SCT, who make the flash tuners, thought Capa was d**k them, and on a software update, locked out the ability for tuners to change any flash1 or flash2 tunes. the tuners still worked with the existing tunes loaded onto them, but they couldn't be changed. Meaning if people wanted a new tune, they had to buy a new Flash3 through Herrod, who had became the new SCT dealer. There was a massive backlash on the Nizpro forums, alot of s**t was given to SCT, they compromised and said they would give a short period of time for the Flash1s and 2s to be tuned before they would fully withdraw support, there was still a backlash, so they backed down completely, and the flash1s and 2s still work fine.
