Yup, having a little spaz attack here.

I have the new switch, but does anyone have any pointers on fitting it?

Been upside down for a while now...

PS: It's the micro switch type with the hole in it and two terminals for the plug.

i guess you have the old one out. fit new switch to the brake rod with the hole on right, and arch on left and slide it over the shaft on the brake pedal. refit nylon bush and retaning clip. plug it back in. check brake lights. done
