it would be a NA fairlane or DA ltd, or there is a NC or DC being the later models. interior has wood grain and normally leather.

What specifically are you trying to find out...they are basically the same as the first of the E series such as EA, NA, DA with 3.9L 6. Still a very comfy cruiser, I have a 90 NA Fairlane which I am currently getting ready for rego in 2 weeks.

well like these specs are different

Performance:
(Fairlane sedan, 3 speed auto):
Top speeds in gears
1st: 79km/h
2nd: 128km/h
3rd: 190km/h
0-100km/h: 12.2 seconds
Standing 400m: 17.9 seconds

(LTD, 3 speed auto):
Top speeds in gears
1st: 89km/h
2nd: 147km/h
3rd: 199km/h
0-100km/h: 10.45 seconds
Standing 400m: 17.39 seconds

whys one quicker than the other cant be diff seeming the ltd is faster in each gear.
are they lsd's? and theres no specs on the 4speed

your car looks mean btw

The 1989-1991 LTD's were all 6 cyl, the 1992-1993 LTD's some were v8. Only the V8's had leather and woodgrain and also some other goodies. Personally i would not bother with an LTD unless it has a v8 and woodgrain, the 6 cyl ones are just a longer version of the Fairmont, same interior etc.

What model are you going to buy as i see you are in CHCH? theres a couple of NA's on Trademe

That's not quite as true mate. I used to own a DC LTD with a 6. It also had woodgrain and everything else the V8 version has except for leather. But I've only sold it and brough the DC LTD with V8 cos it's my cruise car.Everything is loaded in to it.Electric seats, sun roof, leather etc etc.
