The headlight switch on the dash of an EF/L, whats the best way of getting it out without damaging anything?

Pull the main knob and the dimmer knob off the front of it, you will se a circular nut. Use a small flathead screwdriver in the indent, to undo the nut. The switch can be removed from behind.
