Hey i have an EL mont and I'm trying to take off the steering wheel, I've taking the air bag off now im trying to remove the wheel itself, does it need a 7mm allan/hex key or is it soething else, i tried a 6mm key it was too small and the 8mm too big or is it imperial?

you need a torx security bit...a T50 i believe ?
just remember when you undo the screw, remember to leave it threaded on a little bit.... because after around ten minutes of pulling, twisting, swearing and yelling...it will come loose all of a sudden, and leaving it threaded on a bit will mean the difference between a suprise and losing your front teeth...

buy a full set and spend as much as you can afford, coz fords are full of them. Autobahn and repco both sell them.

i already own T10 > T40, hopefully i can get theT50 by itself, though the T40 in prob 1/4 of the size i need so it seems a big jump in sizes. Goin to have a look tomorrow shops r shuttin now so the people there will rush me out rather than helping lol

bought t50 the other week in 1/2" socket style, $7 from tool shop.
but u will need other sizes if working ont he rest of the car. pain in the a*** if you ask me.
