I'm going to get shot for this and am preparing for a rap over the knuckles
BUT i have made an attempt to search for such a subject, but have failed to find anything to answer my question. I have read the technical documentation on how to make the foglamp jewel on the instrument cluster illuminate. For EF Falcons it's as simple is running a signal wire to the cluster wiring loom plug and adding a globe holder to the apropriate socket. I assume this also applies to the high series (NF/DF Fairlane/LTD) instrument clusters. For EL Falcons this is the same procedure, EXCEPT a one-way diode must be installed to the cluster PCB. Is this also the case for NL/DL Fairlane/LTD instrument clusters? Or is this feature all ready to go without the need of the installation of the diode? I appreciate anyones help and will await my punishment for bringing up a topic that has been asked so many times before. |
