Hi All,

Had a bit of a read before posting, but can't seem to find anything specifically on this.

Did a power window conversion a while ago into my EB2 gli sedan.

I used a factory Fairmont body loom. Plugged the loom up, all 4 regs are in and plugged in and the switches are all plugged in.

Windows don't seem to be working, and incidentally the central locking isn't working either now.

I have also put a fuse in for the power windows in the fuse box.

Anyone have any ideas on what I've missed!

Thanks,

Justin.

Cool. Does the BCM need to be coded to the car or anything, or can I plug it straight in and go for it?

So you say your locking dont work either now?? Sure you havent just done a fuse while doing the conversion? Possibly the crt fuse?

Yep, central locking, and the remotes stopped working at the time of the conversion.

Hmmm, very good point! I'll give that a try.

GLI's don't have a BEM (called a central controller). That will be the smartlock module that's there.
Fairmont's have a green central controller.
Have you checked that there is 12v to the power window switch assy ?? Also to the door actuators ??
