OK the wing is horrible, but this guy has had two seperate sets of wheels on the car in different photos. Confusing but i can see he has done something sort of tasteful with the XR8 rims.

I dont think it looks all that bad. Not to bad at all. LIke the V8 super cars.

The difference is that the V8 supercars have tens of thousands spent on design and testing (wind tunnel time alone can be $10,000 a day or maybe even more) by people who actually have a clue about what they're doing.
I think youll find that v8supercar aero kits arent wind tunnel tested either. They are tested but usually on unused air strips with crude measuring devices (pretty much test downforce only). And I say if this guys happy with his cloud scraper who are we to tell him its s**t. And any sort of wing set at an angle will work to increase downforce. I just think people are quick to label something as rice if they dont like it.

There was a Commodore getting round town in Cairns about 10 years ago with a wing like that - I thought it looked.... odd - but ultimately figured it was up to the owner's taste. Really funny thing tho is that he was REALLY defensive about it - I'll bet he laughs his a*** off about it now but at the time you could be in a servo driveway when he was there and if you looked anywhere near his car he'd look pretty p****d - if you commented about it he'd really quickly say "it really DOES work!".

I always felt he'd have been a happier person if he just took it off.

I'd put 20 bucks on the fact that that wing is not real...looks like an edited photo. The black looks too flat??? The area where the mounts fix to the boot doesn't look quite right? Just my opinion...

Well the guy said that he's removed the wing cause he didn't like it for some reason...so I think you'd be wrong!
