Yep, different people want different things from a car.

The fact is, the problems that Simon and I had with her actually happened.

Neither me or him actually touched the custom Mal Wood 1-piece tailshaft ...yet we both experienced broken uni joints.

The clunks, creaks and groans in the rear suspension were obviously there too ...probably as a result of towing said 1 tonne trailer on a daily basis.

It was also discovered to be making 100 rwkw less at 19 psi than the reported 430 rwkw on a WA dyno.

And I was at the Motorplex the evening the valves decided to say bye bye ...Simon was in no way thrashing the hell out of the thing.

And while the alarm system was supposed to have a few bangs and whistles, it would also discharge the front battery if left unconnected to a battery charger for more than a couple of days ...not exactly ideal.

Call it the luck of the draw, or whatever ...it may have been an awesome car back in VIC ...but it was a little past it's prime when it landed here.

Maybe it just didn't like WA?

WA the unlucky state perhaps ...

Uni i cant explain., i never had an issue in the 5yrs i had it so unsure ont hat one

In terms of dyno the 430kw runs have been on 105 octane fuel and i think around 22psi so that may explain some differences

Valves, again I had no issues but I guess with a motor with so much power that sort of thing can go at any stage same as the turbo itself or rod or piston etc...

Battery was never an issue for me and i hadn't noticed until you had the car, but then it only ever went a couple of days without being driven in Vic so i would not have notced anyway
