Hi Everyone,

I have a BA GT 03 model. This did not come with the pod Gauges like later BA GT. I have got hold of original pod and gauges out of 05 GT and now I need to find out how to go about installing them. I am trying to get hold of original sender units and wiring to go with them but I dont realy know where to look. I am in Tassie and I dont think there is anyone down here that has much to do with these vehicles. The local Ford Dealer is no help at all.
Does any one know if perhaps the 03 GT might have the wiring loom allready there or do I have to Start from scratch. If anyone can Help me out in any way it would be great.

You'll have to source the wiring loom and senders (and possibly the sandwich plate to go between the block and oil filter).

Site sponsors /eBay are where to go.

I have found senders and wiring loom from wrecker will now be able to finish instalation Ford wanted 480 dollars just for two senders I got looms and senders from a GT and instructions for 400 dollars.Still a bit pricey but I have been Told by Aisat instruments a VDO distributor that the BA falcon uses a " can bus " system what ever that means and senders for these Gauges can only be sourced from Ford.

CAN bus is the OBD2 protocol used. But the FPV gauges, are NOT part of it at all. They're regular 'dumb' electronic gauges.

The instrument cluster is all CAN protocol stuff.
