Well it has teken me a while to get this to where it is through lazyness and business), but here she is.

First off, i decided just just do a few upgrades,a nd of course as we know, that always turns into more as we go along.

So what is going in it:

- E303 cam
- gt40p heads
- cobra manifold
- 1/2" intake spacer
- underdrive pulleys
- larger T/B and Maf

fairly basic stuff, but tried to keep it within the limits of factory ECU and drivetrain.

had a few little hiccups on the way, but that always happens when doing this stuff, and we wouldnt want it any other way i spose.

had a few clearence issues betweem rocker covers and manifold, and manifold and bonnet, but finally got them all sorted out. thanks christ. the spacer and a new buldge bonnet fixed that.

here are a few pics.

Sorry i dont have any pics of the early stage of the build, as they were on old compueter which crashed, and im yet to try and recover them.

Enjoy.

cheers mate, im quite happy ive got this far to tell ya the thruth.

I still have a few little things to sort out. Hose from T/b to rocker cover. Intake pipe (T/B to airbox), then all the little fiddly things uf setting up again.

Question for you all, i can fit headers back on beacuse of spark plug interference, i have new genie ones, but can fit them on because of pipe coming up from exhaust. Can i leave the headers off untill i get to exhaust shop? I know it will be loud as hell and run like a pig, but will i be able to run it with the O2 sensors doing bugger all?

You'll be OK, have fun going to exhaust shop, unlike a 6, it will sound beasty not like a $100 car in a smash up derby.

We are striping paint off the inside walls of our house, when it has been painted and a few mods are done on the Delica, I will have time for playing Fords.

The Deli is getting lifted, bigger wheels, whopper towbar for towing car trailer (hmm for Fords of course), roo bar and winch. If Ford Australia built a real people mover I would have purchase one of those, but the Deli can actually go on the real beach (not like those false ads) and no Tetris is required to fit everything in. When the kids grow up and if Ford Australia builds the Territory with ground clearance, diff locks/or at least LSD and centre diff lock we might buy one of those, that would be nice :D

Deciding whether to waste time with the worn out Mont wagon or save up for a mint XA wagon (XB front, but still pre 73  ) or something totally different, FORD based of course, it just has to be big enough to fit 4 kids and stuff for the day outs, I would love a Lane but it would need to be an ex limo.
