Ive had my xr6 for nearly 6 years now.. ive had it on LPG the whole time, but sadly due the the nature of the system i have, i am deciding to rip out my LPG system. to date ive gone through 4 intakes and 2 filters. And ive taken it to a MGA (the brand of converter/system) specialist and even they could not get it running 100% as soon as u put your foot down 60-100k/h its will labor and backfire.
The final options were- new converter, new hoses, new intake, and a fine tune to get it running again Or remove the system and reduce the cars weight! After hearing about how much it would cost to do the first option i already had my mind set on option 2. I just thought id add this, as it was the best thing i have done for the car so far

Yeah mine wasn't a factory unit either, crappy aftermarket one, in the end it was the converter and the mixer that was causing the main problems. But i wasn't willing to spend the $$$$ to fix it all when my xr's doing well on 98 v-power. with the engine mods ive done to it, my xr chewed through the gas and nearly worked out to be the same mileage.
