G'day all,
Can someone tell me how to remove the trim from the rear seat backs? I see there is a zipper type setup but cant see where it starts or finishes. Also, How do you remove the large cusion bits next to the doors on either end of the rear seat backs....Are they push left then up, down and out etc? I want to give them a good clean! Thanks EFfutura |

the seat just pulls straight up and im pretty sure there is a string that runs right around the trim... if you pull the sting over some thin metal frame (in the foam) it will come away... to remove the side you will need a long flat screw driver to push a clip down then the top will come towards the front and the bottom will unclip... ill see if i have any pics of the clip

The top one is a BA one... (bottom AU) just below the yellow foam on the right you can just make out the clip

Thanks fourL6,
If I pull the string bit (which I assume opens the "internal" zipper bit), am I able to actually do it back up like a zipper? cya EFfutura |

G'day all,
Thanks for your help fourL6, came in very handy. One thing to point out for those thinking of removing the seat trims, unlike fourL6's, there was no bit of string to pull on the zipper. I ended up using a welding rod with a 90degree bend about 4 or 5 mm from the end. Then with very nimble fingers and perserverance put the rod up through the seat back lock opening and my fingers guiding the rod through the opening for the seat back release managed snag the zipper clip. Its a pain but can be done. anyways, thanks again and cya, EFfutura |
