i have done a dyno to get a reading of 175 kilowatts (234.68HP)at the wheels
so i know that much, so far. How do i work out how much power i am giving out at the motor ???? ie. Au falcon i6 standard say 157kw but that is from motor not wheels . . . does anyone know the answer to this question?

you guess generally. some say (engineers) that theres a definate % figure for driveline loss, which never seems to stack up with real world experience.
a stock falcon six from ef-au in respectable nick on an average dyno should net around 105 rwkw from what ive gathered from listening to others. so getting 175rwkw is a bloody good run. probably close to 240kw at the motor since xr turbos are around 180ish at the treads in stock form... iirc.

Take it to the drags, Dyno's lie, Drag Strips do not

I generaly work on rwhp=fwkw or pretty close anyway. So in your case 234rwhp=234fwkw.

Id say this would need to have a snail/sc attached for these figures...or maybe a day in the "Mock" Garage...*lol* Or dyno is out by 20- 40rwkw!!! On a serious note anywhere near that, are some serious numbers for a N/A 6 We all wanna know how its achieved!!!

I'd prolly be sitting at about 15-20rwkw below that My best guess for fwkw would be to add around 20% on top for the auto, so if ur making 175 at the wheels, add another 35 = 210fwkw |

It's not that hard I'm making near 160 atw with a can and valve springs as the only internal mods, hasn't even had a tune yet.
