Ok guys my dad eb has a miss at idle
car is EB 6 auto on gas misseds on petrol as well as gas
just replace all plugs,leads
rotor and cap ( they were f**k and a pain to do as well! )
still has the miss! :evil: :evil: :evil:

ideas?

I'd say injectors, but if it misses as much on gas as petrol, then I don't know!

Do compression test...Read the plugs as they come out also....
suspect coil?? Pull off each injector connector to find which cylinder is missing...

mm neva thought of the coil

the old plugs were the same on all 6 as it gota recoed head about 6 months back
the miss is at idle only and happens on gas and petrol so cant be injector
mm might get a new coil going to be a damn pain in the a***

yeah if you have changed plugs leads rotor and cap then id be guessing coil
altho when i did my coil it was fine at idle but would misfire hardcore under load.

my dad is the other way misses at idle but runs fine at anything over 1000rpm?

anchient thread i know lol
but this was all that came up when i searched

my car is missing ony at idle - but only sort of here and there, its not a constant miss
just done the head gasket, so cant be that
and the car runs perfect after around 1000rpm
plugs seem fine, leads are fine, cant think of anything else that will cause it to miss like this only at idle!

any ideas?
