Were there any models released with black interior, door trims/dash/centre console etc etc

Not really. Yes, they have more black in them than any other EF/L interior, but they're still not really a black interior:

Black interior = VHT + AU wheel and seats.
Gotta love the black dash setup in the GTs though, I'll be spraying mine the same when the cars in for a body respray shortly.

my EL has already been converted to black interior..

dash, roof, carpet, etc... taking out the black door trims as they look crap.

Put my black AU seats in, and I'm hoping to create a striking black/grey contrast interior..

looks good so far.. planning to post some pics tomorrow once I have the other two door trims on.
