I dont see 8 to 10 psi being a problem aslong as it has a proper tune to suit, better fuel pump etc.

E series is better due to lower compression..
The A.U is more dependant better tune being its much higher compression..
Keep boost under 8Lb street and the occasional 12Lb blasts and she'll live a long time..
Providing its in reasonable condition in the first place..
Best to set overboost function just above your max tune.. Say ?? 15 Lb as a "double safe" measure..
Just in case a wastegate hose come off etc...

My turbo ef just shat its self running 9 psi although I just had a fuel pressure reg I should tuned it first but I was too impatient.. Make sure its tuned properbly and it'll last
No tune = go boom

What you said above .. Should be above every how to thread!!!
Too many people take tune for granted !!! Then blame turbo / blower etc..
