i am look in at a Gas Research kit but also lookin at the price i have a aftermarket (factory look) system on my car at the moment and thinkin if i was to get the research throttle body and fitted it to my current system and get rid of the power sucking ring would it work to increase flow like i am hoping or will the computer just have a melt down over the increaced air flow?

Ive wondered the same thing

I would think that if its a basic computer it will run but not sure if you start using something more complex

I don't think it will work, because there are 2 basic gas systems (injected aside) one has a simple converter with a complex difuser, and the other has a complex converter with a simple difuser.

The GRA system is the former, and he factory setup the latter. generally the two connot be mixed. This would mean you will probably need to buy another converter.
